There never seems to be the perfect time to begin. Not enough money, not enough confidence, too many ideas to pick just one. I’ve run through every excuse there is.
For years, I’ve collected ideas. Countless notebooks full of them.
New Idea = New Notebook
Honestly, the collection is embarrassingly large.
A new business idea. A new hobby. A new dream for the future.
But I never seemed to take any of them past the planning stage.
There’s a certain comfort in planning. It feels productive, like you’ve accomplished something. You can spend hours researching, making lists, designing logos, creating pinterest boards and imagining what could be.
But planning doesn’t really require any risk.
For a long time, I convinced myself that I was preparing for something.
In reality, I was just delaying.
Why I bought a domain before I felt ready?
Buying a domain felt surprisingly scary.
In that moment I knew that The Cosy Chapter was no longer just a notebook idea. It was real.
My vision was public and I had to be held accountable. No more excuses.
If I was really going to build the life I had been dreaming about, I would have to stop the planning and just begin.

What happens next?
Honestly? I have no idea where this blog is going to take me.
When I think of the future, I picture something quite different to the life I’m living now.
I picture more time outdoors, being creative, growing my own food, travelling more and prioritising my health. Maybe even having a small piece of land one day.
I hope to build something that’s mine. Something that gives me control over my time.
This blog isn’t being written from the finish line.
It’s only Chapter 1.
